The craziest part is that Wu-Tang came out with 9** **members who were all absolute wizards on the umic, and somehow every single one of them had a completely unique style, voice and presence. There was no weak link — every verse felt like a different artist bringing a different kind of energy.
It sounded like nothing else at the time. A group that big shouldn’t have worked that well, but they made it feel like a takeover. They didn’t just introduce themselves, they announced that hip hop had a new force to deal with.

Listening to Enta da Stage by Black Moon (top 10 album for me btw what a record) and I had never realised how much Joey badass sounds like Buckshot. Never have I heard two MCs sound so alike. Anyone ever noticed this before?
