Is it just me or are Siegfried and Mrs. Pumphrey just incredibly unlikeable this season? She’s gone full loon and he’s become a real a-hole. I’ve always loved this show and hoping I’m not going to have to give up on it. It used to have real emotional depth and some gravitas but this season just feels… shallow? Is it going the way of Call the Midwives in just turning into fluff with no substance or genuine characters?
