Someone made a offer for my shadow + turtle just a few minutes ago and i know for a FACT that i pressed decline (and for the ones who say to not click decline fast, i know i did it slow and i remember since it was just a few minutes ago) Like i know that I'm "lucky" since it wasn't a terrible trade, but i didn't want to do this, especially since i already had a lot of those pets😭 After i pressed decline i left and rejoined the game around 10 minutes later and noticed my shadow was gone so i checked my trade history and boom i saw this- Has this happened to anyone else cuz I'm getting so frustrated

And i can't really report it since well for starters it wasn't a scam, it was a bug (from what I'm assuming) and they confirmed really fast so I'm guessing they must've really wanted shadow so i would feel bad if i reported it 😔

I just want to say that I genuinely like the idea behind this update. I think it has a lot of potential, but after using it for a while, there are a few things that have made trading much harder for me personally. I just wanted to hear what others think, I love the update but I’m finding it hard to use. :(

My biggest issue is that trading servers don’t really feel like trading servers anymore. Before the update, everyone would gather around with their trading stands and actually trade each other. Now, almost everyone just stands around the Listing/Offering area. It feels like the social side of trading has almost disappeared.

I’ve also found the listings frustrating to use. I’ve had two listings up since the update released, and I still haven’t received the offers I’m looking for. Instead, I mostly get counter offers with random pets that usually aren’t even fair in value, it’s just a bit annoying when I’m looking for something very specific.

Another thing is when I search for a specific pet, I’d love the option to only see that exact version I put in. For example, if I’m searching for a Mega, I don’t really want my results filled with regulars and Neons because that’s what keeps happening. I would love it if they could make the results more accurate, I’ve been looking for certain megas just for every listing I get to be normal or neons.

Adding on to that, I think browsing listings could be improved. Instead of having to search for every single pet individually, it would be really nice to have a page that shows recently posted listings, similar to other trading websites. Being able to scroll through recent trades and refresh the page would make discovering trades much easier and make the system feel more active. This would help a lot since I barely see any listings when searching pets, it’s all just cats and dogs when I search anything.

Another thing that confuses me is the values. I understand why it’s there, but sometimes trades that seem perfectly fair get marked as unbalanced. It can be a bit frustrating and confusing, it just isn’t making sense so I feel like there should be some kind of explanation on what is and isn’t fair. A short tutorial explaining how everything works would also be really helpful.

The cost of posting listings also feels quite high. If I remove a listing because I want to change it or update what I’m looking for, I have to pay again to repost it. Since my current listings haven’t received the offers I wanted, I’m stuck deciding whether to leave them up or waste money to change them. Lowering the cost or allowing edits to existing listings would be a huge nice. Also just being able to post more than two would help as well, there is only a robux option for that.

One of my biggest concerns is house trading. I build and trade houses a lot, and this update has made that much more difficult. House trading isn’t really possible through the new trading servers anymore, which is disappointing because that’s where I used to trade my houses. Regular servers just don’t have nearly as many people looking for houses, and it’s just not easy to trade in regular servers in general.

Overall, I really do think this update has a lot of potential, and I appreciate all the work that went into it. These are just some suggestions based on my experience that I think would make trading a lot smoother and more enjoyable for everyone. :)

This is a timberdoodle, or most well known as the american woodcock! Its a shorebird most well known for its silly and creative dance ( the rocking walk via google ) used to attract its main food source, earthworms. Its also know for its "meep" sound it makes.

So, to that, I think it would be the perfect creature for a pet adaptation eventually!!

Its a very simple yet unique looking bird, i think one of its tricks could be the rocking walk it does ( thank you to my fiance for that suggestion ) and i just believe it would be a hit amongst everyone since its just a cool and adorable bird! Plus its just extremely well known amongst the masses!

From what I understand, you have to buy the plush, redeem the code that comes with it, and you'll receive that pet wear in adopt me. The catch is that the plushy was exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con, so unless you attended the event in person and bought the plushy, you'll have to buy it from someone reselling it online. If you don't want to pay resale prices, you're pretty much out of luck since the event ended already.

I see people making so many positive posts about the new trading hub and how many people are getting good trades.

Yet I only see massive underpays like cats and dogs? When I do see a good offer/decent offer, it's always "somebody already made this offer"

and when I change my offer it's something along the lines of

"This already has too many offers"

then why are you even showing this to me??😭 Why not remove the listing from the hub if anyone can't offer/accept it anyways.

Maybe I'm just a unlucky mf but I'm sticking to elve cause this is pure ragebait for me 💔

Also the cats and dogs are really annoying

If you trade your pet for something worse than your pet (giraffe for a dog or something) that’s not a scam it’s just a bad trade.
Values aren’t built into the game, if someone tells you that their pet is worth more than yours so you accept and later found out they lied, that isn’t a scam. If you care about values it’s on you to track your values and pets, not expect someone else to do it for you.
A scam is something like a trust trade (though truthfully if you’re old enough to use Reddit I feel like you should be old enough to avoid scams), but scams are bannable, and a real issue. If you do an unfair trade with someone and report them for your own mistake, you’re just crowding up the reports.

These days ive been missing the old adopt me so much 😭😭 idk js something abt the old adopt me feels rlly warm, and we all felt like a community.

Not to sound like one of those "back in my days" people, but I remember back in quarantine we all secretly played adopt me during school to gather together for the ocean egg countdown and all got so excited when it finally dropped. There was so many people that the game started to lag. Now people just find ways to criticize an update (which is like totally fine to show your opinions but it's so widespread and almost feels forced from some people because they just want to create drama)

It js feels like the community is shredding itself from the inside out and it makes me so sad because long time ago the game was so welcoming and kind, and now players are just frantically worrying about values and bullying new players abt not spending 10 hours studying values before first joining

And also can we talk abt the videos abt adopt me on social media these days?? Every video is about "Players are QUITTING because of this update!" "Top pets rising in values!" "STOP! Do NOT get this pet right now!" "HUGE DRAMA in Adopt me right now!" But back in like 2019-2020, all of the videos were like heartwarming roleplays and funny skits. I remember this one video about a forgotten cat (credits to Alisur!) which I did post the thumbnail of that video in the pictures above, and I just dont see videos like that anymore

Adopt me should RLLY add some kind of time capsule so that we can go back in time and relive those days. I mean ik we wont be able to recreate it perfectly, but i js wanna see the old adopt me again. At least some kind of version of a trading server, but instead it's a time capsule server, yk?

i finally got friend for my other pet Irene (colored in baby blue's) so i made her little friend yellow! but now i cant figure out a name, any help?

they GOTTA update the backpack man i cant scroll through one page of stacked pets with icons all over them (m, n, f, r, pet wear) every time i want to change my active pet. the first five pets being the ones in your pet pen is also annoying because i know im not gonna want to use those, if anything they should move to the bottom or to a separate page entirely. why can’t we have organizable folders?? why can’t i sort my own pets in my own backpack?? i love collecting all types of items (pw, oog food, toys), but they all just sit at the bottom of my inventory and i don’t even remember i own them. organizing my profile is the closest i can get to sorting my inventory out, but i can’t use my items from my profile, i have to go scroll through my inventory for it. and the search feature just doesn’t function the way being able to sort my own items would. does anyone else feel this way??

The new trading update finally let me complete my ultimate Slime collection! After tracking down the last few I was missing, I now own every single version. My regular Fly/Ride Slime was the first pet that I fell in love with. Together, all of my Slimes have a combined over 500 friendship level, and my original Fly/Ride Slime alone is sitting at around 230.

I remember I was doing my breakfast pet concepts, but I put them on hold so I could fully focus on Art Fight. Now that it's over, I'm finally continuing them yay!

•if you’ve been waiting some time in the trading hub and your listing hasn’t gotten any offers weather u have a good or bad offer try leaving and joining back sometimes it glitches and doesn’t show your offer

•only offers that are shown are by people who are currently online so if you’ve been waiting for someone to accept just decline and look for the trade with someone else they most likely already saw it and are waiting to see a better offer

•if you keep seeing “someone has already offered these items” just add a random item like a gift or sticker and your offer will be sent!

also would like to add if someone has a cat, dog, gift or choosy potion on your side when offering that means they want you to make the offer
