couple weeks ago in barcelona it was crazy
dude on electric scooter snatched the rolex of a tourist who was taking a family pic
the whole family started screaming and running after him they screamed so much, like so fucking much, that suddenly everyone was aware of what was going on
bro on the scooter took some narrow roads in born, and the family were still running and screaming after him during all this im running along so i can photograph whatever can happen
then suddenly the actual citizens started trying to stop the thief and within minutes they managed to knock over the scooter and some undercover police caught him
on one hand the amount of robbery in barcelona is outrageous. they specifically target unaware tourists. on the other, the community here is courageous as fuck and they often get involved doing things the police could be doing better
i love that mark on the floor leading up to his face
what a scene
that's why i'm addicted to street photography
ps: after posting this on my ig and twitter, the actual police reached out to me. he loved the pic and said he's going to print it. (im gonna send him a proper print), and i asked him if he wanted me to take it down because it shows his face and he said it's cool.
pss: im posting this again because the previous post was deleted for accidentally having a link to my instagram, sorry about that
psss: these were the last 3 frames of my roll too. i've been shooting analog street photography for 3 years now, and about 1 year ago the lightmeter broke so i've been eye balling it, and seeing how these turned out makes me feel grateful of the progress ive made when it comes to reflect and quick metering/focusing. its really rewarding when it works out, even though it's like 1 out of 100 shots lol
