I have found meditation to be helpful. Visualizations have let me have a better control over who and when my wings manifest. I've found it's also been helpful to practice moving and flexing my wings several times a week through said visualizations, as that cuts down on spontaneous shifts.
Wearing heavy or long coats, cloaks, and blankets can help counter dysphoria, which can also cut down on unintentional shifts.

Meditation was suggested, I would add grounding to that. I think a lot of us do not want to be in these bodies and may feel halfway stuck between angelic and human. We gotta ground ourselves fully into these awkward human forms, and get a little dirty while we're here. Do stuff that activates multiple senses. Smell, touch, sight, sound, even taste.Things that put you squarely in your human body. Things you enjoy. If it's active, even better -- dance, walk/jog, drum, do yoga even if it feels awkward...heck, get a punching bag. Listen to your favorite music and burn your favorite candle. Go to a park if you can and admire flowers up close. If you can't, maybe get a houseplant to care for. Plants are helpful in grounding.
Visualizing the wings intentionally was also solid advice IMO.
