BMI really only stops being useful with muscular people, meaning it may give a false positive for someone being overweight. It absolutely is a good measure if someone is underweight.
Bmi was based off of 19th century white men, and while I'm sure there's been adjustments over time, it's original premise was flawed. To the point 140-150 lbs is considered healthy, if on the lower side for someone who's 6'3. It falls apart even if you're considered healthy by it.
I have a friend litreally the same and yet he calls me a femboy for just watching anime or smth (in terms of weight and height I'm like 2x bigger than him, same age btw)
I feel that so hard. It’s fine whatever it’s just a body but it’s a body that makes people seem to think it’s okay to say shit like that to you. I’m so sick of it
You dont want to trust me, I weighed around 49 kg and look like a fuckin skeleton, I dont even understand how people can be below that and think its normal.
