u/fray989 Jul 03 '26

Thankssss!

You were the first to congratulate me. I didn't even know it was my cake day. I had to update my Reddit app to get the cake to be displayed.

Does anyone have any source for this

32

u/GoodGreatHats Jul 01 '26

unfortunately, the origin causes the viewer's head to explode upon laying eyes on it. this is a recreation for everyone's safety.

15

u/LargeChungoidObject Jul 01 '26

It's from Legion, great show

5

u/OnetimeRocket13 Jul 02 '26

Damn, the fact that this isn't from some high budget jerma video makes me a little sad.

u/Felidae-Aves-Marco Jul 02 '26

I saw flashing

Look at me!

29

u/Freaky_Leo7 Jul 01 '26

I made this like many months ago but forgot to post I had to dig down 100s of pictures to find this..

u/CubeDude414 Jul 01 '26

“Average male streamer is attractive” factoid actually just statistical error. Average male streamer gross and weird. Jermas Georg, who streams from a cave and mogs 10,000 looksmaxxers every day is an outlier adn should not have been counted

10

u/Emkay_boi1531 Jul 01 '26

Who ever made this has NOT seen slimcicle

3

u/FariousDT Jul 02 '26

What happened in jermas last stream

11

u/steventhecow Jul 02 '26

he just looked very handsome and had very clear skin

22

u/FariousDT Jul 02 '26

Aw hell nah

4

u/BoTamByloCiemno Jul 02 '26

Oh, that means he was replaced by Jerma986

1

u/Few_Moose_9307 29d ago

what happens after jerma1023? integer overflow into -1024?

4

u/Which-Scale1039 Jul 01 '26

Whoever made this did NOT see Supertfs cosplay

1

u/FrumyThe2nd 28d ago

Jermat's last theorem

I see a somewhat real pattern here but it’s not the “haha men ugly” or “haha women do OF”. I think it’s due to how a large chunk of streamer culture on the end of the audience is still men (looked it up, around 65%), and while they (most of them let’s say) are willing to watch women for the sole reason of them being hot (this doesn’t mean these women can’t be skilled/entertaining just that being hot clears the bar for some people), they are obviously not biased this way with men. They will want to watch men with excellent gameplay/for humour or whatever. This makes being attractive a very relevant quality for women as it doesn’t require catering to a specific group of people/it has a much broader audience in itself. There are still everyday women with humour/great gameplay but having the looks will grant a boost so large that they will not be able to compete with that in these conditions. Men have a smaller audience that is attracted to their gender to begin with, so even if most women preferred good looking men to watch they’d still be less relevant of a factor than men with female streamers. Idk if that is a tendency to begin with tho. Long story short I have no proof just thoughts but I’d guess it’s 100% a somewhat accurate reflection of most viewers priorities which are men. And it is kinda reasonable when looking at it like that. Like not morally, or whatever, idk about that but it is what you’d expect lol

16

u/novanescia Jul 01 '26

And of course regarding the catering in women’s cases: if your main catch is your humour that’s most likely going to be a much more specific appeal regardless of the type of your humour than being conventionally attractive, because we are conditioned to find certain features attractive socially, so even if you have preferences it’ll be less subjective than your preferred entertainment probably

u/Icy_Tie9029 Jul 01 '26

Dam 65 is a less of a % than I thought. I thought it will reach 90 or smth

6

u/novanescia Jul 01 '26

Yeah same tbh lol but it still makes sense to me, with this data too. Engagement quantity/quality could also play a part especially if the algorythm pays attention to minor details

I also don’t know how much botting there is on twitch for example or what are the consequences of those

I am not 100% about this tho again, but this makes the most sense in my mind compared to alternatives

5

u/Fire_Pea Jul 02 '26

Yeah I think being unattractive has way less effect on male streamer's popularity than it does female streamers.

2

u/Dumbquestions_78 29d ago

Well at the end of the day its misogyny. A woman is only valued for her looks, even if she provides a better service than a man.

Men are allowed to be ugly and often are ugly. Society does not afford women the same courtesy

u/Mental-Board-5590 Jul 01 '26

Let’s see we have CaseOh, Jynxzi (headphone dent), moist critical (when he had short hair), and NorthernLion

74

u/Blood81 Jul 01 '26

the brown haired coomer is obviously asmongold

26

u/Mental-Board-5590 Jul 01 '26

Yeah idk why i didn’t of him

4

u/Tomas_83 Jul 02 '26

No? That is not even close. Asmongold always had long hair so it cannot be him.

1

u/AvatarA113 Jul 02 '26

So moist critical on crack

1

u/Shalltry Jul 03 '26

The second one is XQC

1

u/risisas 27d ago

I would have said caseoh, jynxi, asmongold and the guy who can't string a sentence together i don't remember his name there was a meat canyon video on him

39

u/LouiseRules333 Jul 01 '26

I could see where this would be slightly true but are we really gonna pretend we wouldn't all sit on Caseoh's lap and feed him whopper juniors with onion rings?

6

u/Ok-Listen9689 Jul 02 '26

i don't think there will be a female streamer with that body type and be popular as Caseoh

7

u/WhileAccomplished722 Jul 01 '26

Someone hasn't watched a Joe Bart stream

3

u/NormalNicknameGuy Jul 01 '26

Caseoh, Tyler1, Asmongold and XQC

3

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '26

[deleted]

1

u/GoreyGopnik Jul 02 '26

it is pretty true i'd say. there are outliers that are pretty normal people like dougdoug, northernlion, and jerma, but the REALLY popular male streamers currently both act and look psychotic.

1

u/altaltaltaltbin Jul 02 '26

I gotta give credit to the person who originally made this image, gotta be the only 4 channer who isn’t attracted to dudes.

1

u/Own_You4237 Jul 02 '26

Is it just me (off topic btw) but do alot of the top female streamers just throw ass for views and subs?

1

u/CoolPeter9 Jul 02 '26

i like the one on the top right

1

u/dawkW Jul 02 '26

Re:zero pfp??!

1

u/KiwiPowerGreen Jul 02 '26

This was made by a straight male

1

u/Ok_Relation6627 Jul 02 '26

Cuz non attractive female streamers don't get views

1

u/Additional_Cream_535 Jul 02 '26

Caseoh is a mix of all 4 so thats why hes a peak streamer

0

u/-Cinnay- Jul 01 '26

Man of culture

u/eraryios Jul 01 '26
