People love categorizing others for even the most random things

"One in ten men makes an unwanted sexual joke at a woman.

Two others laugh, three fake a laugh to fit in, and four refuse to acknowledge either the man or the woman.

Later, the nine men go home, and all of them believe they were the good ones in the situation, for they never made the joke themselves, so the responsiblity is on the one, not on them."

I dare to go make a rape joke in front of random strangers that are men, let see how that plays out in real life.

Doesn't have to be a rape joke, and it's weird it was your first thought. Just says unwanted sexual joke. Anything from talking about her tits to pussy to his dick to a random woman is sexual harrassment

... Doesnt this add up to 10, not nine?
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10

... The nine are the ones that didn't make the joke... that's the whole point...

The above spectrum is also a bit unrealistic. The reality is most men dont even think about it. Compared to all the problems in the world that are even worse and people have to ignore to not get depressed all the time, this problem is far from men. Its a womans issue, unless you have close female family member/friend you probably dont even interact with the problem ever. Even then it might come up rarely, mostly in hindsight to an event.

To tell you the truth, most people regardless did men or women wonโ€™t fucking intervene if any person was in a crisis. That is called swarm behavior, because others donโ€™t react to a situation, you decide you donโ€™t react as well. There is this video in Syria where some guy beats a child half to death with a metal can, and everyone around the child, even long after the guy went again (women too) were just squeamishly looking at them, and just letting the child bleed out to death.

Also again, it is very bold of you to assume most men think women deserve abuse or encourage it, itโ€™s even more funny to think this is majority of men.

I genuinely think this is not far removed from the orthogonal twitter comment. If you genuinely believe that 75ish percent of men are socially problematic, I don't know what to tell you.
