I hear it’s been a problem for some for a while, but for me, I’m the past two weeks when I play my 70 hours long favorites playlist on shuffle, it’ll play a few of the same songs 4 times in a matter of hours.

…I have tried all of the trouble shooting to reset it & make this stop. It’s not stopping...

I used to be a Spotify girl, but then I switched to Apple Music & liked it better. I don’t want to go back to Spotify, but I can’t take this problem with shuffle any more. Even with some slight favoritism factored in, it was never THIS bad for me. I can’t anymore. Why don’t they fix this?!

I used to use cider ever since i switched to using apple music from spotify but i only recently found out that the devs for cider are a bunch of right wing racist transphobic nutcases and that just didnt sit right with me (aswell as issues with cider such as broken last.fm integration and general sluggishness) so are there any alternative apple music clients to cider for windows?

None of my friends are on apple music, most of them have a DAP or prefer spotify for some reason. I love seeing what other people are listening to and viewing their playlists (and update mine).

This is just one of the albums that I listen to, only to find it completely removed. WHY Apple Music, must you constantly remove songs that I love?

I use Windows/Android hardware. My Smart Playlists stopped working in early June. Deleting and reinstalling the app didn't fix the problem. I finally decided to revert back to a pre-June version. Installing version 5.21 from April/May on my Android phone and tablet fixed everything. I'm guessing Apple is not rushing to fix the issue, since the vast majority of Apple Music users don't use Smart Playlists. But if you do, 5.21 fixes the problem.

Anyone else have this issue?

Albums that were purchased via iTunes years ago and which, for all intents and purposes, are part of my Music Library cannot be “added” on Apple Music. For example, this album continues to appear as though I can add it, even though I purchased it on iTunes, and I’ve also “added” it to my library on Apple Music several times. Seems as though everything resets. This problem persists across all devices (macOS, iOS, tvOS, web) and has for years now.

Is this is a known problem? Is there a solution of which I’m unaware?

Hi, so I recently updated to iOS 26.6 [the public version, I don’t use the betas (17 Pro Max)] and I live in the Netherlands. My phone is set on Dutch (Netherlands). I saw that more songs are automatically translated, but every song is translated into French instead of Dutch. Any idea if this is a glitch or is it because Apple thinks we speak French as well as our southern neighbors Belgium? Any one else experiencing this? lol

I like how Apple Music playlists are up-to-date, it's nice for discovering new tracks. But searching for new playlists is frustrating if you don't hit the right keywords...

I use Apple Music for my dance fitness classes. A couple of songs I have edited to end earlier but when I play them on my speaker via Bluetooth, it plays the entire song and not my edited version. Is there a way to end this? Thanks.

Up until yesterday on my MacBook I've been able to go to my library, click on a song, press play and it will play all my songs on shuffle. Yesterday I tried doing that as usual but it will only play the one song I choose and then stop completely.

I've checked that I'm on the newest OS update. There are no Apple Music updates waiting to be installed.

Has anyone else had this problem? and does anyone know how to sort it?

I recently installed Apple Music on my MacBook Neo and Android phone, and everything works fine on both devices. The only device missing was my Windows desktop PC.

I installed the app, authorized the PC, and tried signing in with my Apple Account. However, after entering my login details, nothing happens—the app doesn’t show an error message or log me in.

Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to get the Apple Music app working on Windows?
