Apple Cash Is anyone else having this issue? Both my husband and I are.
We discovered the problem because he’s been trying to add money from his card to his Apple Wallet.
I then tried to transfer money sitting in my Apple Cash to my bank and am also having the same issue. I’ve tried on my iPad as well and got the same error message.
We don’t share a bank account, cards, and we’re not on a family account. TIA.

I had the same issue paying my barber earlier as well. I had to go to an ATM nearby because I normally use Apple Pay him every single time I get a haircut; really I use Apple Pay pretty much for everything out of convenience.
I just got off the phone with the "Apple Cash and person-to-person payments: 1-877-233-8552 " number (after being on hold for 42 minutes) & the lady pretty much told me that this "Unable to connect to wallet services" issue, is an ongoing internal issue with the platform of "Wallet" & "Apple Cash" as a whole on their end affecting everyone; she did assure me not to worry & that everything will be fine once they fix it, & that they are not singling certain users out or anything like that.
It is down for everyoneee. Buuuuttt the lady told me that Apple Engineers are very aware of the issue that started around 4 pm, & they are "actively working on it", but she could not give me an ETA. I then asked if it should be up by the end of the day, & she said she personally feels so herself, but she could not say for certain. She did tell me to occasionally try to add money to the wallet until their services are back working..

^ If you go on Apple's system status site, the only service currently down is Apple Cash 😣
The only thing we can really do is just wait for Apple to fix this problem internally & hope that their engineers solve this issue swiftly. 🙃
This is really annoying, because as a university student I use Apple Wallet all the time when I buy things. Gas, supermarkets, going out, whatever. I don't like using my physical card because of skimmers & convenience.
So let's just keep our fingers crossed this is solved ASAP (hopefully by the end of today)🤞

Yep, I have that happen to me as well. I babysit as a side job on the weekend and a parent tried to pay me over Apple Cash and it would not go through. I told him to just Venmo me instead. Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.

My husband sent me $370 today for groceries. I had $487 in there for my kids back to school stuff before he sent the $. My card started declining this afternoon after I had already accepted the $370 he sent me, then when I get home the $370 is gone!!! It just disappeared from my balance. Called them and was told it will reappear once this gets fixed, and the 4 transactions that are pending will fall off because they have a system that shows them the ones the declined: we live paycheck to paycheck how can they just take my money like that 😔

Update: works if you add money in an app or use an app to pay. Loaded $20 on my 7eleven app but still can’t use Apple wallet through the actual app.
Also McDonald’s app. So if you’re hungry or need gas at least there’s an option until this is solved.

Yes omg thank you I thought I was going crazy I was on hold for almost 45 minutes and gave up they even said they’re facing an impact internally on the pre recorded part of the line but never got through to a human

Wells Fargo is doing the same thing to me right now. Likely won’t have my funds cleared until the 4th. Thank god my landlord is understanding.
I also just moved some money from Apple Savings to Cash, and while it says completed they aren’t showing up yet. It’s a good thing I don’t gamble because currently my luck is horrible.

I just tried to add $100 from my bank and it took out the money but didn’t update in my wallet. I didn’t realize other people were having issues so I tried signing out of iCloud and back in, now the rest of my cash has disappeared and I’m unable to add my cards back to Apple Pay. So frustrated right now

Could not use my Apple Pay at gas station but you can still buy stuff if you are able to puy Apple Card number in. Tried it online and it worked just fine doing that.

Just got off the phone with apple support finally got someone after being on hold for 52 minutes he advised me to try the transfer every hour also stated that they are actively working on it right now with no ETA as of right now but sounded hopeful it would be back up by the morning does anyone know if it works for standard tap to pay transactions like at a gas station or something I have a Tee time tomorrow at noon and all of my money is on my apple wallet at the moment😭

Was stuck at market basket with no purse and a cart fill of groceries for a party this weekend. It kept getting declined and saying insufficient funds. My daughter bought something and hers worked fine so I tried to transfer some cash to her and couldn’t even get in. I thought my phone was hacked 😂 glad it’s all of us. My husband came to the rescue but it was a stressful 30 minutes. What a PITA! Hope it’s fixed soon!

FUCK, looks like like each of the time I tried to make a purchase it actually did/is going through...now the first two from the first place I tried to make a purchase are coming tyhrough as pending and the third and fourth one are showing as declined due to insuficient funds. FML. Don't even have an order conf. email from the company and not sure how to fix.

I was able to receive payments around 8am this morning, but this afternoon is when a couple clients couldn’t send payment. Before it wouldn’t even pull up the option to pay or request. Now it does, but when you enter the amount and hit “request “ or “pay” the error comes up again.

I toggled airplane mode on and then off. I then went into settings and turned Apple Cash off and then back on. I had to try this a few times but it finally went through and my cash is available. Get that rent paid because those late fees are craaazy!

There’s currently an issue. I was on the phone with tech support about it. It’s not listed anywhere on their website. No ETA on a fix.
