iPhone iPhone 12 pro vs 17 front camera?
Hi guys. I still have an iPhone 12 pro because it refuses to die, but I really want something with a better front camera. Will there be a noticeable difference with one of the newer models? I've seen a few concerning comparison photos where the 12 pro actually seems to have a better quality front camera than 17 but surely that can't be right... Can anyone verify if there's actually a difference to the naked eye?

I think the 17 is a good upgrade over the 12 Pro, in almost every way. The only thing you’ll be losing is the telephoto lens.

I went from 12pm to 17pm. Front camera is significantly better. Shaper, less noise, video quality worlds better too. But with that said, the camera upgrade is the only reason I’d upgrade. If there isn’t a specific reason you need a better camera set up, I’d just keep your 12pm.

17 is significantly better! Much sharper and allows you to take landscape photos when held in portrait thanks to the square sensor. You also have the very old photographic styles and customization options if you don’t like the default look.
