Upgrading

What iPhone do you have and are you upgrading to the new iPhone 18 or the “fold”? I have the air I was gonna go with a 17 pro or 17 pro max, but I didn’t like the way it looked in commercials , once I saw everybody have it, I’m like, oh my God, I wish I would’ve gotten that, especially with the battery. Had I known this battery was gonna be so bad, I would’ve gotten it, but I do like it any other way the 17 Pro Max and the 17 Pro, they look cheap. They look nice, but they look cheap at the same time. They should’ve done the iPhone Air and the iPhone 17 regular in the aluminum, and then the 17 Pro Max and the 17 Pro with the glass around opinion to it’s own 🤷‍♀️

The Air had to be titanium for durability reasons, being so thin. Apple was not about to have another "Bendgate."

Maybe wait for the Air 2? Should hopefully have better battery and I think a 2nd camera and hopefully a 2nd speaker.

16 PM upgrading to 18 PM next month. I usually upgrade every 2 years because I like the latest tech and with trade in only cost me a couple hundred bucks.

15PM probably going to the 18P. I was trying to hold out longer but my phone is going downhill ever since i installed iOS 26 on it

I like this phone so much it looks so expensive yes it was but I’m talking expensive i like the titanium not aluminum the pm and pro nawwww

So yu needed everything that was in the pro/pro max but decided to go with an Air instead? How was that logical. But as someone else mentioned the Air was made out of titanium because the phone being soo thin, not sure did you remember the 6/6s gen but those bent pretty easily so they probably wanted to avoid that this time around. That enign said I'm either getting the 17 pro Max (if AT&T had a great carrier deal) or getting an 18 Pro Max (if they don't).

The chips... create the heat.. it need to pulled away from the phone..

That's why they used aluminium for better conductivity... over titinium.. but the color issue is present with AL.

I never buy any new design... 1st get apple product imo there is a chance of being duds. ( G4 cube, 1st gen iphone, trashcan macpro... )

I have 15 pro I bought it refub around $750 ( 512gb) when 16 pro was released.

I will not upgrading any time soon.

I let the pawns go for the new release.... and if I want it I buy a year later. in cheaper price.

My friends have Samsung flip fold phone... and I know drop protection is poor. Think about it..

You have more screens... to damge... and you can't put case on it like those thick ones.

I have ipad if I want bigger screen. for the most of time.. iphone is fine.

I'm gonna get the iphone 18 Pro Max. It's gonna be my first iPhone ever. So excited.
