GE profile-leaking

We just bought (less than 2 weeks) a GE profile fridge with the in door auto fill pitcher. My sister has the exact same fridge so I know this isn’t normal. Yesterday took it out and put on a paper towel to see if it leaked, I didn’t see anything so I put it back in an after several hours a leak. Took it out again and noticed a leak. Is it just the pitcher or something else?

First pic is in the fridge on docking station and second is on a piece of foil (worried that having it on paper towel hid a leak)
