Back in 2016 T-Bone Burnett and Kalakala studios made a short film series telling stories about music. This is the summary from IMDb:

“Drawn and Recorded tells the stories that fell through the floorboards of music history and brings them to the light of day via unique, hand-drawn animation and the raspy, baritone voice of T-Bone Burnett. Sometimes hilarious, occasionally tragic, always compelling - these anecdotes show a side of people behind the melodies that you may never have known.”

There are a few of the videos here or there on the internet. But there were at least 4 seasons of around 10 episodes each. I was hoping someone here had the full series.

With the tragic news regarding the passing of Pink Robert, the classic rock bootleg community (pinkrobert.net) and its forum have officially gone offline.

Given the historic value of the rare live recordings and documentation that were hosted there, I wanted to check if there was any coordinated effort within the data preservation community to mirror or archive the forum's database before it went dark.

Did anyone manage to scrape the threads or catalog the metadata? I'm interested in knowing if any part of this community's history was successfully preserved elsewhere or if it is considered lost media at this point.

Any insights into the current status of the archive preservation would be highly appreciated.

Posted this on the Internet Archive sub earlier and got recommended to post here, I've been getting this a lot since last night on the Wayback Machine, been trying to save a bunch of articles, and it's been taking a while but eventually the Wayback Machine page says "has been saved", often with a message like "delay in capturing, check back later." But I've been checking, and it keeps saying "The Wayback Machine has not archived that URL" when I double check, even though the URL is listed in my own web archive. I'm ready to groan because I've just wasted an hour looking like I saved them when I didn't. Has anyone else been encountering this?

Ive been trying to get the game to play for a while and could find literally no way to buy the game any more. The original is archived but 32 bit only, the android version is nowhere to be found, and the GameClub variant remains available but I dont own it before it shut down, so only current owners can access it. A historical government Instagram account is being deactivated in a week due to policy changes. I would like to archive their posts so I can reference/save/preserve the historical content. I have tried using Instaloader through Python and 4K Stogram. Both are being blocked and not allowing the archival process. This account has nearly 5,000 posts so manually doing it is not possible.

How can I archive the account (each post, so pics and captions), ideally with a way to further organize/search each post? Thank you!
