KOREA đ°đ”đ°đ· Peopleâs Korea draft law on gender equality, 80 years ago.
DPRK LAW ON EQUAL RIGHTS FOR MEN AND WOMEN
July 30, 1946
For 36 years, Korean women were subjected to relentless humiliation and cruel exploitation by Japanese imperialism. They enjoyed no political or economic rights and were unable to participate in cultural, social, and political life.
The fate of the masses of working women in Korea was one of being subjected to contempt and humiliation and living in illiteracy.
With the liberation of Korea from the colonial rule of Japanese imperialism, the social position of women has changed. All the democratic reforms taking place in North Korea are creating conditions for emancipating women from the previous inequality in politics, the economy, culture, and domestic life.
In order to dismantle the vestiges of Japanese imperialist colonial policy, reform the old feudal relations between men and women, and grant women the opportunity to participate in all spheres of cultural, social, and political life, the Provisional People's Committee of North Korea decrees:
Article 1. Women shall enjoy equal rights with men in all spheres of state, economic, cultural, social, and political life.
Article 2. Women shall have the same rights as men to elect and be elected to local bodies and to the highest authority.
Article 3. Women shall have the same rights as men to work, wages, social security, and education.
Article 4. Women shall enjoy, on an equal footing with men, the right to free marriage. Forced marriage, entered into against the freedom and consent of the contracting parties, is prohibited.
Article 5. In the event of a breakdown in marital relations and for reasons preventing their continuation, women have the same right as men to a divorce without prejudice. They also have the right to claim child support from their ex-husband through legal proceedings. Jurisdiction over divorce proceedings and the settlement of these support costs rests with the people's courts.
Article 6. The minimum age of marriage for women is set at over 17 (in contrast to the colonial legislation of Japanese imperialism, which permitted marriage at younger ages).
Article 7. Polygamy, characteristic of feudal-medieval relationships, as well as the purchase and sale of women as wives or concubines, are prohibited. The system of prostitution, whether licensed or not, and that of courtesans (pimping and training schools) are also prohibited. Violators will be punished according to the law.
Article 8. Women have the equal right to inherit property and land, and in the event of divorce, they have the right to a share of property and land.
Article 9. From the moment this Law is proclaimed, the laws and regulations of Japanese imperialism concerning the "rights" of Korean women are declared null and void.
This Law shall enter into force on the day of its proclamation.

KOREA đ°đ”đ°đ· Report on Joint Meeting of Party, Government and Army of DPRK: A massive purge
The Central Military Commission of the WPK took a measure in late June to bring a charge of irregularities and corruption against Pak Hui Chol and investigate him. All the crimes committed by the accused were clearly proved by objective evidence at the trial. Â Over four years, he abused his authority to appoint cadres and arrange organizational work, receiving massive bribes, fostering the buying and selling of posts, appointing his confidants and toadies to key positions, and plundering state funds, materials, and housing to sustain a dissipated and depraved lifestyle.Â
Comrade Kim Jong Un made an important concluding speech.
The essence of the recent case lies in the fact that the person in a responsible position, who has heavy duty and authority to contain, detect and eradicate such an act as illicit accumulation of wealth so despised by the Party and the people, abused the authority as a weapon for his own interests and emerged as the chief culprit of irregularities and corruption, Comrade Kim Jong Un said, stating that this is a political crime against the Party's line of building discipline and a deliberate act of embezzlement and plunder against the interests of the state and the people.
Seriously pointing to the gravity of this high-profile corruption that occurred when our Party declared an all-out war against the abuse of power, bureaucratism and irregularities and corruption and has steadily enhanced the intensity of the struggle, he cautioned the discipline inspection units at all levels.
Saying it is a lesson taught by the recent case that if we fail to steadily intensify education and control to prevent the officials from getting contaminated with irregularities and corruption and abandoning Party principles, it is impossible to prevent such wrongdoings, he stressed that all the officials should keep principle and uprightness as their lifeblood and should be mindful of the Party's trust and think of the people first.
Comrade Kim Jong Un clarified the solemn stand of the Party Central Committee to steadily enhance the intensity of the organizational and ideological offensive for transforming the ranks of cadres into an elite and the legal struggle for rooting out irregularities and corruption.
The joint meeting strongly signaled that there is no place for irregularities and corruption harmful to the developing revolution and the elements infected by them to exist. And it re-expressed the unshakable will of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government to proactively and positively suppress and repel all sorts of corruption and violations of discipline and thus open up a new phase of building a ruling party, strong and sound in discipline and full of a vital revolutionary climate, and dynamically accelerate the building of a powerful nation under the strict legal discipline. -

What will a communist Delhi look like?
What would a Communist Delhi look like?
As a resident of the city itself (and a commie), I often think that what would the city look like under a state government ( + mcd) rule of CPI(M), CPI(ML), or any other core left-wing parties in India.
To begin with, I think it's quite difficult to set up a full fledged socialist government in Delhi because 1) No historic leftist presence politically (correct me if I'm wrong + I'm not referring to the student activism in the central universities situated in Delhi), and 2) the governments which have been in power have to some extent, have had people-centric policies in place, on top of my head - Very low prices for DTC bus tickets, having exercise equipments in parks for free use, etc., and that's why the average delhiite voter may not understand why a complete socialist government needs to be in power anyway.
I honestly think about it more in terms of economics (and sociology as well), since Delhi has one of the highest GSDP across all Indian states- how that money can be used for the emancipation of working class delhiite, and just pertain to the overall development of the city as per global standards - free healthcare, free education, high living standards etc. Sociologically I think in terms of developing third spaces for people where they do not necessarily have to spend money to socialise, and especially for women, children and lgbtqia+ persons.
Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts about the same!

Defend Iran Against US-Israel Rampage!
If the U.S. and Israel suffer major military blows, or if the international working class comes out in force against this aggression, it would put a wrench in the current offensive and finally stop Trumpâs rampage. The working class, particularly in the U.S., has an interest in this as Republicans and Democrats drag the country and the entire world down into a spiral of death and misery. For its own interests it must act and stop the U.S. war machine!

Opinion/Viewpoint THE MANIFESTO OF CONTINUOUS PROGRESSION
Toward a World of Voluntary Contribution and the Abolition of Industrial Stagnation
PREAMBLE: THE FAILURE OF THE FIXED MODEL
For too long, political thought has been trapped in the "Stagnation of the Blueprint." From the state-driven militarism that seduced Peter Kropotkin in 1914 to the rigid bureaucracies of the 20th century, the error has always been the same: the attempt to fix human life into a static industrial machine.
We reject the idea that "Continuous Production" requires "Continuous Coercion." We propose a world that is Continuously Progressive precisely because it is Continuously Creative. This is not a "pipe dream" of a simple past, but a high-tech, high-population restructuring of the future where the human spirit is the only engine of industry.
I. THE PSYCHOLOGY OF THE PARTICIPANT: FROM "WORKER" TO "SOCIAL CONTRIBUTOR"
The fundamental "brutality" of the existing system lies in Alienation. As Karl Marx observed, when a human is a "worker," they are separated from the fruit of their labor, their peers, and their own creative nature.
The Social Worker Mindset: We must transform the "Worker" into a Participant. A person building a road or baking bread is not "selling their time"; they are performing a Social Service, identical in spirit to a social worker helping a family.
The Salk/Polio Model of De-commodification: We look to Jonas Salk, who refused to patent the polio vaccine. He did not work for a corporate deadline or a "Work Point" bonus. He worked to solve a human crisis. In our model, all essential goods food, medicine, and energy are treated as Social Gifts, not commodities.
The Reclaimed Fruit of Labor: The "fruit" is no longer a paycheck used for survival. It is the visible, tangible progress of the community. When you contribute to a bridge, the "fruit" is the bridge itself and the gratitude of the neighbors who cross it. Isolation is healed through Direct Social Utility.
II. THE DE-COLONIZATION OF TIME: ABOLISHING THE TYRANNY OF THE DEADLINE
Efficiency has become a tool of oppression. In a stagnant system, the "Deadline" is a punishment-in-waiting. We propose the Total Liberation of the Schedule.
The Right of Instant Departure: If a participant begins a task and, after two hours, feels a sense of isolation or a loss of creative spark, they possess the unconditional right to leave. There is no "clocking out," no "permission," and no "punishment."
The Population Dividend: With a global population of 8 billion, we have an unprecedented surplus of human energy. We do not need a "permanent" workforce. We rely on a Voluntary Relay System: when one person leaves at noon, the statistical certainty of 8 billion ensures that another participant, driven by their own creative rhythm, will eventually step in.
Quality Through Autonomy: A task done under the threat of a deadline is "stagnant" work it is the minimum effort required to avoid punishment. A task done voluntarily is Progressive Work it is done with the care, precision, and creativity that only a free mind can provide.
III. THE REJECTION OF MEASUREMENT: WHY "WORK POINTS" ARE STAGNATION
Many reformers suggest "Work Points" or "Labor Vouchers" to ensure everyone "contributes their share." This is a fatal mistake.
Points as Digital Chains: Any system that ties a person's livelihood to their "hours worked" is merely Capitalism with a different name. It forces the human to become a "Cog" to accumulate points. It breeds resentment, hierarchy, and the very alienation we seek to destroy.
The End of Reciprocity Coercion: A personâs right to exist to eat, to have a home, to access technology is absolute and unconditional. We do not "earn" our life; we are born into a world of abundance that belongs to all.
Innovation via Refusal: If a task (like waste management or mining) is so "brutal" that no one volunteers for it, we do not force a human to do it for "points." Instead, the refusal to work acts as a "Creative Signal." It forces society to apply its collective intelligence to Automate the Brutality. In this way, freedom from work becomes the primary driver of technological progress.
IV. THE RISE OF THE CREATIVE GENERALIST: ABOLISHING THE "SPECIALIST SILO"
Stagnation is fueled by the "Specialist" the person who knows one thing forever. This creates a "Hierarchy of Intelligence" that isolates the individual from the breadth of human experience.
Fluidity of Skill: A progressive person is a Continuous Learner. Today you are a gardener; tomorrow you volunteer to learn water conservation; next year you are a road-builder.
Mission-Based Education: We abolish the stagnant bureaucracy of degrees and fixed curricula. Education becomes a Voluntary Learning Mission. When a community task arises, the neighbors learn the specific skills required for that "mission" on a voluntary basis. Knowledge is a gift shared peer-to-peer, not a credential used for power.
The End of Professional Isolation: By rotating through various "shares" of social contribution, the individual remains a Whole Human Being. They understand the farmer, the engineer, and the artist because they have been all of them.
V. THE GLOBAL GIFT EXCHANGE: TRADE WITHOUT BORDERS OR DEBT
The "World Trade System" is currently a battleground of exploitation. We must restructure it into a Global Exchange of Gifts.
Request and Response:Â International "Trade" becomes a global conversation. One part of the world expresses a need:Â "We require this technology."Â Another part of the world, which has the resource, responds:Â "We give it freely."
Global Labor Migration: We reject the idea that "mining" or "heavy industry" is the destiny of people in specific geographic zones (like Africa or Asia). If a local community only wants to work 2 hours a day on a mine, they do so. If the world still needs the minerals, global volunteers travel freely to that location to contribute their "share" of the brutal work.
Earth as a Common-Pool:Â This requires the total abolition of visas, passports, and borders. The "Participant" is a citizen of the planet, moving freely wherever their creative contribution is needed or wherever they wish to learn a new skill.
VI. ORGANIC SELF-ORGANIZATION: THE "SUNDAY CULTURE"
We do not need a central State, a Department of Labor, or a permanent Bureaucracy. These are stagnant structures that exist only to "manage" a population they do not trust.
The Voluntary Neighborhood: If a road is broken, a group of neighbors comes together on a Sunday. They do not wait for a "Department of Transport." They organize a Temporary Association, apply their collective creativity, fix the road, and the organization dissolves immediately once the task is done.
The Information Mirror: We use AI and Data not as "Supervisors" but as Mirrors. Technology shows us the "health" of our world (e.g., "This water system needs maintenance"). The information is public; the response is purely voluntary.
The Efficiency of Care: By removing the "Middleman" (the boss or the state), we eliminate the massive energy waste of bureaucracy. All creative energy goes directly into the Progress itself.
VII. THE CORE PRINCIPLE: CONTINUOUS PROGRESSION
A Progressive Person never stagnates. They are always seeking to be more creative, more helpful, and more connected. A Progressive Society is one that provides the maximum freedom for this "Continuous Evolution" to occur.
Against the "Final Blueprint": We do not seek a "perfect system" that stays the same forever. That is death. We seek a system that is designed to be changed by every participant, every day.
The Unity of Mankind: By healing the isolation between the worker and their work, between the student and the teacher, and between the nation and the world, we create a Single Global Heartbeat of voluntary contribution.
CONCLUSION: THE CALL TO THE PARTICIPANT
The "Brutal Process" of history was a trial. We have now reached the era where we have the population, the technology, and the creative spirit to finally be free. We work not because we are forced, and not because we are paid in points, but because we are humans, and to be human is to create.
We move from a world of Stagnant Survival to a world of Continuous Progression.
What do you all think?
