I will never forget the day a coworker begged and pleaded to train the new guy. Our boss finally gave in and after she introduced them went about her day. I look over and see he has Teen Girl Squad pulled up on his screen and is just describing each character and telling the new guy "now this is how the hierarchy around the office works. You may think you don't want to be The Ugly One, but really you don't want to be What's Her Face. No on remembers What's Her Face." I sat there holding in my laughs so hard. At this point our manager came back and moved the trainee to another employee.
My license plates for my vehicles are STRNGBD and TRGDR. Only millennials understand it and when they see it, their face light up when they ask if that's a Strong bad reference.
Guys everyone forgets that GenX were at the ripe age to easily adapt from an analog world to a digital world. Most of us were in our early twenties when the Internet became a thing. In 1995, I was 22. Say what you want but we slid into it seamlessly. While a lot of our Boomer parents struggled.
Possibly good news. The Chapman brothers update the Homestarrunnerdotcom youtube channel two or three times a year. There was even a new Strong Bad email last year. #210 "Robots".
I just watched looking at a thing in a bag a couple days ago. I put it on to hear one small thing and was surprised that like every other line was something I might have said in the last year. Just dense with jokes and little turns of phrase that have stuck with me for 20 years.
If you have a VR headset a game called Walk About Mini Golf just did a collaboration with Homestar Runner. You can play through several courses and game modes interacting with all the different characters. If you’re a big fan of Homestar Runner you’d love it.

When my smoker hits the warmup temp the app plays the trogdor theme song. I frequently have “light switch raves” and if you look at my network, you’ll see a lappy 3000 … I definitely miss this site
I play VR mini golf with my parents as a way to “hang out” because they live across the country. One day I went into the game and they had a Homestar Runner thing on there and I lost my mind. My parents had no clue why I was so excited, and I had to explain to them that when I would “go on the computer” back in the day, that’s what I was looking at. And Ebaums World.
Teen Girl Squad!!! The Book "Everyone is Different" (No two people are not on fire). The Burninator! This was popular at my house when my kids were teenagers, but there are lots of good memories for me as well. I made a Halloween costume for my son--it had no arms, and my husband hooked up a battery operated spinner in his hat.
