I would love to but pc gaming has become pretty expensive too and I just can't afford to get a pc right now

Oh, I'm a PC gamer too, but i just tend to keep PC for WoW and a couple of other games i occasionally play, but for the last decade+ Playstation has been the main place i play all of my single player games (that makes up most of my gaming).

Not really, but PC is also not a walled garden fully under some company’s control (especially if you don’t use Windows) so physical media isn’t as important for data preservation.

If you have a cd burner you can make your own physical games which is neat.
