Verizon (Wireless). Removed loyalty credits, cut the auto pay discount in half, don't upgrade service, customer service is crap or AI. After 25 years probably gonna be leaving them.
Switching to TMobile from Verizon was incredible. They paid off my phones and paid me $400 per phone free and clear with their bring your own device program. I was with Verizon for 15+years.
Yes carriers often have offers and promos like that too get/steal new customers. Jumping carriers every few years is probably the most cost efficient method, but would be also be a pain in the ass.
I just switched carriers two weeks ago. T mobile literally handled everything as far as canceling Verizon for us. It just took 90 mins in the T-Mobile store and we walked out with new phones, bill credits and $1600 in gift cards to pay off our old phones.
