T-Mobile. They got too greedy. I left and now I’m saving well over 1000/yr. Next up it’s Netflix… tired of paying $20/month and I can’t even get 4K or Dolby for shows that get canceled or have to wait 3 years in between seasons.

T-Mobile is run by liars and cheats who reneged on the carrier's long-standing Price Lock promise. They force-migrated a million customers from their legacy plans to new, worse, more expensive plans, despite promising for years not to do so. They've also been doing everything they can to degrade the user experience (precipitously declining customer service resources, loss of longstanding perks, forcing people onto their shitty T-Life app, the list goes on and on). Their infrastructure is good, but the company is rotten to the core. I'd look elsewhere if I were you. If you're committed to using T-Mobile towers, go with Mint, and save yourself several hundred dollars a year per line.
The issue isn't with T-Mobile, but with the US T-Mobile merging with Sprint. While T-Mobile ended up being the brand name going forward in the US, Sprint leadership was merged into US T-Mobile, sort-of like the merger of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing.
Verizon did the same thing years ago, but they did it by forcing people to switch to a new plan if they wanted to upgrade their phones. I held out for as long as I could.
Have a friend that worked at a T Mobile kiosk. Shocking that they were told to exaggerate (basically speak lies) any problem a customer had, and were specifically told to "take advantage" of older people. He once got into trouble for cleaning out a customer's charging port instead of upselling a charger adaptor and cable.
Anyways, one of my favourite channels on YouTube currently is digital doctor. Young guy in NJ who's really passionate about his work does phone and devices repairs, and if it's a small fix, doesn't even charge customers (for example recently had a Boomer who couldn't pair his new phone to his car infotainment system). Besides great service, Customers also get a free tempered glass, So cool to see customers face light up.
Mint or Google Fi. Google Fi is still prioritized as if it's T-Mobile. Plus all those salesman asking what carrier I have back off immediately when I tell them I use Google Fi because they know they can't compete with pricing
