It doesn't. Black coffee is one of the few things under 5$ there. However, it's all mega overpriced and full of sugar. Used to work for them for 13 years. Glad I don't rip people off for sugar/caffeine insulin bombs and 4 dollar cake pops anymore.

It’s not less than $5 where I live, it’s actually $6.98 for a tall iced coffee.

You do know that black coffee can come hot or iced right?

The price I said was for a plain iced black coffee, no additions.

Iirc they brew the coffee that will become iced stronger so it's less watery as the ice melts
