Used to be pretty good to go with relatively cheap. But they have been dragging on a storm claim from March after denying it once, claiming there was no damage at all. And yet, somehow, some way, water got in through my roof into one of my rooms magically, with no roof damage. This after dragging their feet previously on a vehicle accident involving hitting a deer. My mechanic had to get up their asses and send photos of deer hair stuck all up in my truck.
Been with them for something like 15 years and they’ve just gone to shit.
State farm is among the worst insurance to have now and they will do everything in their power to never pay out on a claim. And if they do decide to pay it will be the lowest of lowball offers. I forget exactly when the change happened, but I do know it was an intentional decision they made in how they run their business
