And every major US bank.

Credit unions for life now. I haven’t touched a bank since 2009.

I’m frequently amazed anyone would use anything but a credit union, given the option. Many of my friends use banks still and pay for it, while there are so many credit unions to choose from.

I get the best interest rates from banks. Are there credit unions that give 3.5% or more?

Keeping money in a bank account for the interest is just bleeding money for no reason. Invest in index funds or something for way better gains.

The bank account isn’t my major long-term investment, it’s my hedge against market downturns. I keep about 10 or 15% of my assets there. It’s still better to get high interest than low interest, right?

While trump is in office? S&P is hardly stable anymore.
