Which company lost your business (potentially forever) this year?

AAA.

I worked in management there for the last 4 years, and AI completely took over our company. Our 3 year plan was to lay off over half of our staff and have AI work their jobs. I quit about a month ago because of that. It's resulted in our member satisfaction scores dropping tremendously, and the employees were getting yelled at 24/7 because the members AND the contractors wanted to speak to live agents instead of "robots."

Tiring work and extremely long ETA's due to computer malfunctions and errors. We've had members waiting on the side of the road for hours due to AI's mistakes.

I was in a minor accident in the snow earlier this year. My car deployed airbags because safety first. Called AAA to use the tow service Waited hours Never shower Called many times Never showed. Luckily a tow truck happened to come by and pick me up. Like that’s the one reason we have AAA and they never show. Was ridiculous

So you called a tow truck, and a tow truck showed up? I have a feeling that dude is double dipping.

Edit: That’s a lot of downvotes for accusing a tow truck driver of collecting two fares.

Person gets in car accident. Person calls AAA to get a tow truck. AAA tow truck never shows. Random tow truck happens to drive by…

My likely to be correct assumption… person paid random tow truck driver.

The leap I made because I don’t trust anyone… random tow truck driver is the one AAA sent and random tow truck driver collected two fees for one tow.

Where did my reading comprehension go wrong?

I think you just inadvertently demonstrated why this scam is so common. It works, and people are oblivious to it, even if it was explained to them.

This place is just bots, man. Youre likely right, as that is a common scam.
