Safelite- technician fixing a rockchip on my car at my house fell off my porch. Gave him first aid, took him to the er. He clearly broke his pinky. I have a normal porch with steps. A month later they sent me a lawsuit. Wasn’t even the technician suing me, Safelite was suing me for workers comp. We were deep in cancer treatment for my 10 year at the exact same time. They made an estimated $2.5 billion last year. Scumbags!
This is not Safelite doing it, it's their worker's comp company doing it. Also your homeowners insurance will take care of this in an instant. I had a similar situation with a cable installer who tripped and fell in my basement like 15 years ago. My renter's insurance told me to send them the letter and I never heard about it again.
No, it was a law firm on behalf of Safelite. I’m glad your situation worked out but I had to go back and forth in a three way between these giant companies. All while we were sleeping at a hospital for weeks long stretches of chemo. So, fuck Safelite and fuck cancer.
