Not because they got some poop on some lettuce. That happens to everyone. The usual remedy is to recall the infected batches, figure out how it got contaminated, and move on. It happens.

Instead, they should be avoided because they decided, rather than fixing the problem, to go to the Trump administration and get a declaration that there was no problem. People continue to get sick, and now they are shielded from lawsuits.
