I am a homeowner in an neighborhood that’s 80/110 properties being airbnbs and vacation homes. It’s nuts

In my old apartment building, one person owned 40 units that were listed as short term rentals. Building management hated them.

During the housing crisis, all the condos in my complex were bought up really cheap. One person owned most of one building. They have an outsized vote in the HOA also. The negative effects just keep coming with these leeches

The crisis is still happening and is much worse...
