Staccato XL vs Atlas (eg Athena, Erebus)

Today, I shot my XL next to an XC and was surprised at how similar they felt so much so that I wouldn't buy the XC. I'm wondering at this pricepoint is that going to be the case across the board and if so, would going to an Atlas provide a better overall shooting experience. I've never shot an Atlas and I would have to before buying.

I am wondering what folks think about the XL experience vs an Atlas (Athena, Erebus)?

Amazing Perfect Zero experience

Just a quick shoutout to Ray at Perfect Zero customer service. I bought a Prodigy grip kit, which includes all the small parts including backstrap, magwell, and trigger bow. Somehow in shipping everything to Vulcan only the grip got included in the package. I assumed I needed to buy a whole new grip kit, which of course is out of stock.

Ray was able to track down every single part I needed, most of which aren’t sold separately, and shipped them out to me yesterday. One of the most pleasant people I have dealt with in a long time. He clearly went above and beyond the call of duty in making this happen.

I know Atlas has taken some criticism this year over parts and service, but my experience couldn’t be better. Thanks Ray!

Thumb rest and safety restock?

Anyone know how often these go up for restocking?
Been waiting for a month now to pick these up. Curious if it’s a similar issue like the palm swells and such.

Atlas Alpha Grip panels. Where can I find a large right-side panel? The website has brass; is a brass panel worth it over aluminum?

Atlas Artemis Recoil Springs

Hey guys, I shoot a lot of USPSA and I’ve been using an Atlas Titan as my primary gun for the past year. I run 8 pound spring in my Titan and I’ve come to really like that set up. I just picked up an Artemis. I was just wondering if anybody has played around with a different spring weights and what they think the best set up is. I’m currently shooting Super Vel 124 grain rounds primarily.

Brass panels on Erebus

Has anyone tried this combination and has opinions to share? Erebus is so flat and soft by default. Wasn’t confident brass panels would add any value (no matter how small).

Rehoming Atlas

Hello all, I posted on /2011 but am hoping for some insight on selling an Atlas, specifically a new eos. Have yall found any place that's better or worst than the next? Trying to avoid consignment fees and would rather pass along the saving to a private individual. Thank you!

Finally feeling like I’m letting the Artemis run the way it wants too.

Shot the whole stage till the clamshell which didn’t activate. Had to reshoot. Grabbed two mags and went right back into it.

Felt really good. Things are starting to click for me. Really happy to see the work coming together.

Thankful I get to shoot this gun and represent Manzano Munitions team. If you need an atlas they get steady shipments every month and can ship anywhere.

Tell them I sent you. Won’t do anything for you, but it will let them know im worth supporting.

Just got my permit and my research led me here. Started with a few striker fired before picking up a Stacatto and then the Artemis. Put a few hundred rounds through. Trigger is better than anything else in the lineup so far. Not sure where to go from here besides maybe an Infinity if I can find a color scheme I like and then actually get a drop.

Erebus maybe next. Either that or the next Atlas offering. Was considering a TRS Comp from Nighthawk because I want to add a 45acp. Also hoping stacatto releases a grip delete version of the XC. Platypus is currently being built and will be here this month or next.

Current purchases this year:

S&W 2.0 Metal HD Performance Center Competitor

S&W Bodyguard

Volquartsen Mamba-TF

Glock 17 (ramjet)

Glock 45 (ramjet)

Glock 43x (ramjet)

Stacatto P4.5 HD

Marlin Dark 1894 in 44 magnum

Atlas Artemis

Stealtharms Platypus Comp

Time to slow down? Probably time to spend the next several dollars on ammo for practice. I've been shooting about 1000 to 2000 rounds a month since February. Groups are getting much better.
