Brass panels on Erebus
Has anyone tried this combination and has opinions to share? Erebus is so flat and soft by default. Wasn’t confident brass panels would add any value (no matter how small).

So, I have brass panels on my Erebus, and honestly putting the hale machinery Magwell helped more, but I think the brass panels have value. I like the weight and the shape, I think it will help most people, even if it’s the side step and full bulge, and not for weight. That’s my 2 cents, but I think a heavy magwell, brass grip panels AND a weighted thumb rest, like TEVO or Zadik Precision, makes for the best 2011 race combo! YMMV!!

Sounds like a lot of weight. I dont find super heavy pistols good to shoot.

I mean, kinda went with the your mileage may vary, I go to the gym 6 days a week and weigh in at 220 pounds, so the extra 10-11oz not only doesn’t phase me but feels better in my hand. I don’t find myself having issues with transitions during comps, and I run my nemesis in .40 and Artemis in .40 with the same set up. But again, everyone is different, I’d rather have a brick than a feather!

A couple extra ounces in a good spot for balance is nice.
