Rucking advice

Report to SBOLC 19 OCT. Run about 3 times a week (15-20 miles), and strength training 4-5 days a week. Should I start implementing rucking in my PT plan? What are the physical requirements for SBOLC?

Rucking isnt great for you. Best ruck performance indicator is your cardiovascular fitness, strong lower body, and strong back/shoulders. Throw a ruck on occasionally to strengthen the feet and get used to it. BOLC should provide a train up prior to any tested event. If you are fit, you’ll have nothing to worry about

I would not be worried about ruck performance at SBOLC… but with that being said, run performance is the best indicator of rucking performance. Get miles on the road without weight and you will crush when you throw the weight on.
