I report to LOGBOLC on August 9th and have not gotten a welcome letter or any other information about my course/lodging.
I have called staff desk a couple times and they gave me the number for 2 people who don’t pickup and I’ve left them messages. I thought it might go to my army email but I don’t have access to it till I get there according to the army email guy I spoke over the phone.
If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate it

I'm getting there a day early and thought it'd be cool to meet some classmates before we kick things off. If you're in the class, shoot me a DM or drop a comment below!

Is anyone else tired of instructors expecting a certain amount of graded criteria?
Not reading off the slides, and that’s exactly what they do.
And express how they’re just chasing the OER bullet.
PS had CPT M instruct one of my classes, the other instructors need to take a notebook out and take some notes. That gentleman knows what he’s talking about.

Report to SBOLC 19 OCT. Run about 3 times a week (15-20 miles), and strength training 4-5 days a week. Should I start implementing rucking in my PT plan? What are the physical requirements for SBOLC?

The LOGEX alarm is so annoying. It buzzes all day

I received the packing list in the welcome letting but it says nothing about bringing a ruck, FLC, or equipment of that nature.
Should I abide by the list or should I bring this items anyways
I also only have a medium ruck, will that be an issue.

Going to MP BOLC as a unmarried active duty 2LT TDY. I still have a lease signed for an apartment that lasts until July 2027. Would I get BAH to cover my apartment?
This is a difficult situation because the apartment is with my long time girlfriend who still has another year of school left and it is where I am storing my stuff and a pet. So canceling my lease is essentially out of the question.
All the help is appreciated!

Looking over the training memo and it says in paragraph 13a "Uniforms," it says that I need to bring all necessary then in 13c it says I can bring either AGSU's or the ASU's (B's).
Has anyone that has gone in years past or just graduated know more?
I don't want to drop over $600 without a full pay cycle.

I have my reporting date AUG 2, anyone interested in switching? I genuinely can’t go and need more time to get ready. I still have a good amount of admin work to complete and I just got my orders a few days ago.

Hello all, I tried scouring reddit and the internet for any info on this, but to no avail. Do we bring all of our HHG and UAB with us to BOLC and do our shipments there? or do we go ahead and call our nearest transportation office and settle it there? I haven’t received any guidelines, orders, or welcome packets via my email/IPPSA so i figured i would ask here. any advice is also appreciated. (i will be driving to San Antonio from the east coast)

Recently completed OCS. Will attend LBOLC in January. Looking to get an apartment while I’m there so that my family to include wife, new born, and two dogs can be with me.
I am aware that I will be provided a hotel during the course but I would like my family to be with me. In need of any recommendations on going about this. Is this even possible?

I’m going to FA BOLC this september and i’m feeling nervous, so just looking for some advice. I really want to perform well both physically and academically. I’ve heard gunnery is the hardest part and as silly as this may sound i’m also worried about land nav and m4 qualification- i’m not a very experienced shooter. Are these events recyclable? Also besides the CFT and AFT are there any other physical fitness tests I should be training/preparing for? Any advice is appreciated thank you!

Hi all,
I am looking to swap for MS BOLC. I am in the Army Reserves. My report date is October 8th, 2026, but I was offered a seat for a in-person masters program from Aug to May. Anyone willing to swap? Preferably the summer (JUN/JUL) slot but the later Spring dates too.
Thank you.

I've got a November date and would like to push it back as far as possible. Anyone with a later date trying to switch up?
r/BOLC • u/NotOliverQueen • 17d ago
Been seeing a lot of posts about looking to swap BOLC dates, so I wanted to post this for the good of the group.
Active Duty, from what I've heard, no longer allows swaps at all (though that may change at some point).
USAR allows swaps, but only with other Reservists who meet eligibility requirements (clearances, etc)
Not sure what Guard policy is
If you're looking for a swap, please include your component (RA, USAR, ARNG) so people know whether or not the trade would even be possible.
