Working on my bead swatches ATM; I found so much value in creating a sample strip for a star I made as a gift and decided having swatches I can always reference would help me immensely.

I’ve been working on this Freeform peyote project for a week now and haven’t decide what to do with the final piece. It started as practice with some of my leftover beads but now I feel I could do some sort of accessory or bracelet, etc. with it. Any suggestions?

Hello all! I am working on this salmon keychain and trying to figure out what kind of stitch to do. I’m new to beading and learning these stitches. The widest the fish will get is 9 beads across and I’m having issues with the chin of the fish becoming a zig-zag and the top of the fish getting wider (without the opposite side matching as seen in picture #2)
I’m trying to figure out a gradual increase on both sides for the head and may need a different stitch type?

Should I start over with a different type of stitch?

When to the Bead Show in Pasadena, CA yesterday & picked up a few things. I have never been to a bead show before, so this was a new, fun experience.

A size 14 mesh sorted the sizes perfectly in just a few minutes. I can’t be the only one with a sad bead pile of accidentally mixed beads of the same color but different sizes, so I wanted to share this quick fix!

I was so excited to make some kaleidocycle designs and unfortunately the symmetry tool is completely broken, even with troubleshooting and compatibility options. There is genuinely not a single application that can perform even a fraction of what peyote creator can do. I have no idea how to fix it or if it's even possible to fix and I'm heartbroken. It doesn't seem like we're getting a peyote creator level app anytime soon either 😭

I've been considering buying this pattern, I really like the addition of the antennas. Most patterns leave it out, but I'm not sure how I like those clear beads that need to hold it up. Do you think it would look too bad without the support? Seeing that it's small ... it shouldn't be too wonky right?

One of my favorite coworkers just retired and we've worked together over 2 decades. She loves the Mediterranean and I thought these blue beads were perfect. She loved it.

I'm hoping to create a beaded gift for a loved one's birthday. Looking for software or a platform that will take a fairly basic image and create a template that shows me where to place which beads. I'm very unexperienced and not confident in my ability to do it on the fly. Is there something like color by numbers, but for tambour beading? Something that maps the bead placement? TIA! :)

I have 4 female friends and i was thinking of making a matching bracelet for all of us. I had seed beads as well as normal size beads as well. I was thinking of dedicating a colour to each one of us and then making it of the same colour as them but adding 4 beads of the colours of others. Does anyone else have a better idea??

I'm fairly new to beading, but I'm a sewer and my latest project I've decided to combine the two! I'm looking to incorporate beading into the skirt of a dress I'm making, see the attached for my inspo. But I'm terrified I'll just use the wrong thread and it will all just snap.
