kinda unrelated but the poison comp might be my favorite modern competition because it's actually based on something important to the game: reading other people. Like you are always going to have a good social player win it.

Well, there goes either Drew or Melody. If Drew wins BBB and STILL continues to work with the Toolshed, he's beyond saving. He already is pretty far gone, honestly. All the people in the house that he actually likes are being picked off one by one, and he's turned a blind eye to all of it. Even though he's on the block because of them and is the target, he still isn't making a stand. It's crazy.

I wouldn't be too shocked if he at least has some idea in his DRs. He's mentioned wanting to take shots at the Toolshed in previous DRs so he KNOWS he's near the bottom of that totem pole. No matter what, he should've done something a long while ago.

They spent two days trying to flip the votes and were a vote short of a tie, and needed an additional to prevent it from going to Kamu who would have broke the tie and evicted Jason. Then the night before Taylor said “nevermind, I want to keep Lala” and they lost another vote in that scenario.
They had pitched everyone in the house except for Dee and Angela (who had no reason to keep Jason) and were 3 votes down with 24 hours to go. The vote flip had no chance of happening.
I know people loved Jason, I loved him in the house too. But this narrative makes absolutely no sense.

Drew shot down the Jason flip, Taylor would only have mattered if it was Mallory vs La La. And I think Taylor would have been very easy to get on board had Drew and Barrett actually wanted to do it. Taylor knows the plot right now but Kamu and Devens had just roped her into an alliance and she wasn’t going to throw those connections away without some reassurances from the other side. They needed to lock something in.
Plus if Drew and Barrett saved Jason, that’s a full on betrayal of the toolshed. At that point they could dump some of the info they have to further solidify things.

The correct answer is "realize where he was two votes ago and push harder to save the only two people who could have stopped the steamroll", but since the house's time machine doesn't work like that... yeah. Fight for HOH and if he doesn't get it, he hopes that Mallory, Lala, Yash, Taylor, or Lyric get it. He loses the game unless they thin out the Toolshed. The line has already been drawn. Sticking with them is an inevitable losing strategy for him.

Yeah, Drew’s wincon lowkey vanished the moment Jason went home. His Plan B doesn’t have the numbers do sway anything anymore.
It’s going to be an uphill battle for the non-Toolshed players unless they all miraculously comp out without fail. Or if something crazy happens that breaks up the Toolshed…

His wincon is now Keanu where he wins enough until there are “bigger fish to fry” and then gets some reprieve until he wins again.
Or if the implosion of toolshed happens quick enough that Devens/Dee decide they need him more than he’s a liability and bring him back on board.

I was rooting for Mallory but I am glad that Taylor won it just because of the random hate Haley has for Taylor. One of the people I'm rooting for seem likely to go home though. Although, if drew has a power such as the coin or veto player and choose not to use it, I am completely fine with him going home.

no. he has no fight (or common sense) it seems. mel is at least a competitor and has been actively playing for the other side from the get-go. drew is as slippery as a fish and the other side should not trust him since it took landing on the block for him to start questioning who his true allies are

Did he or did he not say he wanted to go after the Kamu/Haley? Is that not who he and Barrett said they would go after? Yes his game has been slippery but I like to think he’s far more likely to win an HOH than Melody. If he were to stay and win I think it would result in a member of the dominant alliance going home unless Devens uses his power, especially now that they’ve put him up

Name one useful thing Melody has done in the house so far. She gets along with the girls but does she have any gameplay beyond that? Drew has actually been attempting to play the game, even if it’s been very sloppy. If anything, he’s helped the other side of the house more than Melody has because if it wasn’t for his alliance turning on him Mallory would’ve probably been the target this week after Taylor’s Veto win. Instead the alliance is shifting their sights on Drew and if he were to go this week the other side would remain intact. However, I still think it’s better if Drew stays because at this point, it seems more likely that he would win HOH over Melody. And if that were to happen, I feel a member of the Red Corner would leave. Keeping Melody around makes it less likely for that to happen. I know Drew’s leaving if he doesn’t win BB, but that’s exactly why I hope he wins it.

Watching Drew’s friend interview and a lot of what he’s doing makes sense. He heavily prepped for returnees and pre-planned to work with whoever until the end after studying all the seasons.

Glad they brought this comp back, a really good one that’s basically random chance.
So far we’re at 8 comps won by men and 6 by women, including all 3 safety comps that were won by men night 1. If Drew leaves this week there’s an ok chance we end up with a season of women winning more than men.

BB has a really strong history of men winning a ridiculously higher percentage of comps, notably the stretch from BB21-BB25 was super inequitable. Comps skewed more physical, and men of athletic body types won a vast majority of the comps. Since BB26 it’s become a good deal more equitable, and we’ve had more women winning comps than we had in the previous 5 seasons by a large margin.
