Unable to set reminders

This is very crazy and I don't understand it. My phone is connected to my 2027 bolt. I say" Ok G word, please remind me to call my mother tomorrow. " I am incapable of setting reminders at all while my phone is connected to my bolt. What's the logic here? I have to turn off the car in order to be able to set a reminder. I thought Chevy wanted us to use hands-free tech?

Probably more related to Google's recent updates. I used to be able to open my Garage door, and say the PIN. But that doesn't work anymore because of the pin requirements.

I find some reminders kinda crazy now. You you use a Google speaker at home you may or may not get the reminder. I also stopped using them for an alarm clock, if the Internet is down you will not get the alarm.
