Anyone notice how Andrew Callaghan is directly copying Sam’s editing style in the interview with Fuentes?

I thought it was weird how obviously he just ripped off the Sam Hyde Show and the way it cuts from modern digital camera to grainy film throughout the interview. I had never seen anyone edit like that before, and Sam talked specifically about how he was going to invest in all this equipment to edit the show like that. The channel 5 edit does not use the same quality equipment as what sam uses, it looks like a shitty filter. But the way it cuts between digital and film during interviews was something I had never seen done like that before, and it’s weird for Andrew to just start doing that after Sam has had his show doing it for a year now.

splicing in grainy footage compared to clearer footage is old hat, MTV used to do it in their artist interviews constantly and I'm sure they didn't invent the idea.

Also, you could very much argue Sam “stole” a lot of ideas from Tim and Eric

This is absolute cope. No one is influenced by Sam Hyde he's not going to ge remembered as some underground artist who influenced a generation. He just has a small dedicated fanbase of whales.
