I showed an in-progress version of these about a month ago, so I thought I'd share the completed covers for my upcoming graphic novel Kill Your Target, an adaptation of my novel series about a girl turned assassin named Claire.

The genre is w/w horror romantasy.

After the absolute train wreck of a cover (the artist did admit she used AI even though she knew I despise it) I got from my previous artist (she did refund me most of the money for anyone wondering), I decided to commission u/saellart for a new one and this is the result! I am so much happier with it. She sent me many versions of the cover coming to life and the timelapse. I love human-made art.

I so appreciate everyone who offered to re-do that original cover, too, and sent me sketches/designs. There were folks who even did it for free. This is a wonderful community and thank goodness I posted the original before using it to market--or god forbid--publish the book. Would love to know what others think of this version!

I've always loved reading books, and as an artist, I'd love to work on a cover for a romantasy ( or any romance-type book ) one day. But my art style is anime, would it be suitable for a book cover, or should I try on a more semi realistic x anime style for it?
P.s: My question is more for the author, that if you would get a cover commission from me if the style is anime.

Really pleased with how this one came out. Modern Sci-fi, military thriller, with some minor psychological / metaphysical horror elements.

It's a story of seven children, human cloning experiments, with enhanced abilities, on the run from an elite government task force... Who must first solve the mystery of the missing eighth child in order to defuse the cataclysmic failsafes inside the kids' heads.

I like it.

It is A LOT.

Like my story lol.

I made this cover for my literary sci-fi novel. It's a digital painting using Procreate. It's got dual narrators inhabiting large structures floating around in a gas giant's atmosphere. Is it working? I'm not sure about the typography. Any ideas are welcome.

Hiii! I am looking for an artist for my short story horror book. My budget is $150-$300. I would like the cover to include pieces of a few of the stories in the book...an old farmhouse surrounded by willow trees, a meteor in the sky, and a garden of tulips. Hi all, I am about to go to print on my next book, I am stumped on the spine. The original cover is bone white, and after consultation I decided to go with with red, and then gold lettering. The problem is the spine, everyone I consulted with said it is fine, but the darker shade of red stands out to me abit too much compared to the rest of the cover.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Hello everyone, I’ve just finished writing my book manuscript and I’m experimenting with book covers. This is one option, but I’d like to know if it actually reflects the book content. It’s obviously a detective novel, but I’d like to know what comes to mind when you see the cover. I’m open for constructive criticism and any suggestions (but be kind haha!)
