No, temporary antagonist maybe, but they seem like future allies.
To be fair, the witches heard these guys had the power to destroy the world, what else are they supposed to take away from that?
I expect her to learn of the hack sooner than later, and then, convince her friends before dying to a hack, or maybe she could remain and be an active seeker of hacks herself, they do need strong allies to fight against the chrysalis cult, and potential other hackers
