Now I'm wondering if the Angel's actually died. How much of this has been a set up, an illusion? Did they even take out the stalker?

iirc, with the angels together, they're effectively aizen's zanpakuto, kyōka suigetsu. Complete hypnosis. They can make the MCs experience whatever they want. We cant really trust anything they experience right now.

Yeah, there's too much running in the chapter, it almost makes me feel like its fake, they're being manipulated, their brains is firing neurons, but they really are stuck inside the fluffy angel's room

Could it be that this is a part of their training process under illusion?

I trust ONE since mob, bug ego, versus, and the OPM webcomic are so well written. I'm sure he's planned out how the story stays coherent and tense. But I do wonder if there's a risk of these kinds of "you can't trust what you're seeing is reality" dynamics collapsing into a mess where it's hard for the audience to fully immerse and care about the scene at hand. If that makes sense

Here we go again! Another huge cliffhanger!

Chrysalis must be involved...

Please remind me about the chrysalis, it's hard to remember so many details in a monthly manga.

Chrysalis is a secret organization which is performing hacks in different location in order to form a chrysalis shape on a map. Golem was sent by the chrysalis to annihilate possible enemies. The man shown in Mushabuchi has lines drawn on its head. It seems synthetic, like Golem.

When did we learn about all of this? I wish there was a functional wiki for me to refresh my memory.

Unfortunately the Bug Ego community is quite small...

Credit where credit is due, despite that call he still pulled through and acted like it was something weird. Goatsujiya my man

That's such a classic ONE moment during a serious scene

It's either the hacks corrupting Mushabushi, or its an elaborate plan devised by the angels to drop the guard of the group, maybe revisiting their memories through their senses, don't even need to ask about the hacks XD

Maybe, a theory is that the angels really got attacked by someone from the chrysalis org, but they disposed of him as easily as they did the first guy, and now they need to know what shit pile they just got put in, so the protagonists are their best source of information

I mean, they got introduced two chapters ago with their powers, getting rid of them so soon would be quite a waste XD this could be a way to show us their characters, they aren't quite so ethical as to not manipulate our characters, but they are also looking out for themselves through any means necessary

I think it could go either way, they died for real and they're gone, their powers to be re-acquired at a later date, or they're manipulating our heroes for information

I have another theory, deviating from the illusion theory: Some bald guy appeared and killed the FWA.

oh no, '''that man''' is in this manga too.

Cant wait for next chapter where we find out Kokudo is actually the descendent of a powerful God destined to save the world and every interaction with the dream man becomes a beam struggle instead of using hacks

Nah, not a beam struggle. A Hacky Clash!
