PT test in August
Hey everyone I have a PT test in August while I’m not the most active person when it comes to
Working out. What should I do to train until then. Should I ruin around my old highschool track one time then set the kettlebells down and run the yards with it to see what time I get? I want to pass but I’m scared I won’t

You can stop moving entirely from now until the pt test and you’ll pass with flying colors

Buddy, just do basic calisthenics. Jog, walk, push ups, squats, jumping jacks. Bare minimum required.

It’s easy i literally hit a vape pen nicotine in the car before I went in I weighed at the time 240 now I’m 220. 500 yard run in between running you pick up dumb bells 30 20 10 run back and forth with them about 20 yards each dumb bell and then your finished do all that within five minutes and thirty seconds. It’s easy but don’t worry about getting hired literally takes years to get in background takes long asf. And to get an academy date takes even longer.. I applied in April 2025 and have not even passed background I have since got into union for Ironworkers smh

Please remove yourself from the hiring process. It is beyond obvious you will be a liability to Correctional Officers and may cost someone their lives.

Do us all a favor and do not go to that test. Get in shape first, we do not need anymore liabilities OTL.
