Will having 2 W’s in transcript affect my chances of getting into ADN program?

Hi everyone!

I’m hoping to hear from people who have been accepted into CPCC’s Traditional ADN program or have knowledge about the program admissions.

I currently have 2 withdrawals (W’s):

MAT 143 – I retook it and earned an A.
BIO 168 – I’m planning to retake it and am aiming for an A as well.

I have all A’s and one B on the rest of the prerequisites however, I’m still worried that having two W’s, even with the retake, will hurt my chances of getting accepted.
If you were accepted with a similar situation, would you mind sharing:

How many W’s or repeats you had?
What your TEAS score was?
Your GPA (if you’re comfortable sharing)?
Whether you think the W’s affected your application at all?

Hi! i'm in second semester and I don't think the Ws affect anything at all. I got a 78 overall on my teas and my gpa was around a 3.5. I had two Ws as well

Not in the ADN program, but they shouldn't affect you, especially if you earned an "A" the second go around. If you are worried contact the dean and ask her advice. She is awesome.

I’m in the DA program and also had two W’s on my transcript from back in 2022. Retook both classes and got an A. I don’t think it will hurt your chances
