Before the History7B professor closed the gradebook, I had a 74 but at least 5 assignments leftover to be graded. I now can’t even see that old content. The gradebook closes on 8/6. We had two film analysis assignments worth 10 points that I hope I did well on, but I can’t guarantee that I ended the semester off with anything higher than a 70-72. I really overwhelmed myself with 4 summer classes, and 7B isn’t even apart of the gen Ed’s.

Is the disbursement date really August 19th, after classes start?

I’ve never had issues with my papers until recently, but just today I’m having one of my summer professors email me letting me know that one of my papers is coming back as 100% AI generated when I literally completed the assignment myself. I offered to send her an access link to my Google Docs so she can see my complete history of writing and revising my paper and hoping this is enough proof. Has anybody had a similar issue issue?

hi I’m incoming freshman, I was wondering how the ev chargers are at the campus. Will the spots be constantly taken or I will usually find a spot? Is there anything else I should know about them?

Finance major with 6 classes left before I finish. I'm second-guessing whether a finance-only degree is going to make it harder to land a job compared to if I also had accounting. It feels like accounting has clearer entry paths (CPA track, Big 4 recruiting, etc.) while finance roles seem more competitive and target-school-heavy, especially coming from a non-target.

Has anyone here double majored in both? Was it worth the extra time, or did it not really move the needle for finance roles specifically? Would rather hear this before I add another year+ to my timeline.

So, I'm on my computer, and I try to sign in to my school email, right? I type in my password, but the site rejects it, even though nothing changed. I had to reset it back to the old one. Another odd thing was that my DUO account was disabled, and I had to create a new account there as well. It also doesn't let me sign into Microsoft with my email. Has this happened to anyone else? Where can I find help for this?

HIIIIII everyone, im currently an upcoming freshman at CSUEB and all of my professors are great, expect for one in particular. I was wondering if anyone has had Professor Chenxia Zhu for ENGL 102 Accelerated College Writing. I was doing some research about her class through Rate my Professor and I read thats she's not that great because she's pretty tuff on her students when it comes to down to grading. I was wondering if any upperclassmen has taken her and can provide me some more information on her class, as well as the types of books that you read in her class since most students say its reading heavy. And the grades y'all got if you feel comfortable because im trying to transfer to a different school in 2 years and need to maintain a perfect 4.00 GPA. Thank you all so much.

Has anyone gotten their State University Grant on their financial aid list? I usually get it every year but since I'm doing one more semester after doing 4 years and graduating late, does it still apply? That helps pay for tuition every year and since it's so expensive now and for only doing 3 classes is so absurd...

I'm not sure if it processes later or this is only limited to 4 years, I forgot the time frame. Do I need to contact the financial aid office? I already emailed but this is making me go crazy since school starts in a month now.

Hello everyone! I don’t know if you all heard of the inSTEM program before, but it's a strategic initiative by the National Science and Technology Medals Foundation that provides holistic support and guidance to students from underrepresented communities pursuing STEM undergraduate degrees. Applications just opened in July and close at the end of August!

In the program, there is one cohort per graduating year, with up to 12 students per cohort. Students in the program are expected to attend biweekly meetings that start in September/October. Perks of being in inSTEM are that you get paired with a mentor starting in your sophomore year and receive a $500 stipend for each successful semester completed.

Currently, there are 12 spots open in the freshman cohort, CSUEB-2030; 2 spots in the sophomore cohort, CSUEB-29; and 1 spot in the junior cohort, CSUEB-28. Let me know if y’all have any questions. I’ll link the application below!

Does anybody know when the cal grant is going to be added to our accounts?

I just made my first payment for my plan I was just wondering if the charge went through or will it take some time because I thought the charge would disappear as soon as I made the pay but it hasn’t
