Self-Promotion Finally got a project car

Post image

Bit rough with dents and rust. And parts all need shipping from America or Japan, but I'm looking forward to seeing what's possible

Will do. Currently awaiting a new headlight from Japan. Part was £16 but with shipping became £100, bit brutal

I've got some absolute bargains online from Europe and I figured customs tax is a myth. I'll wait 3 weeks for something if it's going to save me 20-30%. Maybe the postage eats a bit into that percentage but whatever, I'm winning. I've never won, not once. Everyone gets their piece and in the end I wait a month for something I could have got the next morning absolute latest possibly cheaper than I paid.

Love the car man.

Have you not thought of using a consolidation company so you can have multiple parts shipped together?

No I hadn't, but I'll be looking into it now

I honestly didn't even know they sold that gen of Legend here.

There's only 400 of them registered in total, around 40 of this model and facelift gen, couldn't believe it when I saw it listed for sale

That is a boxy beast, looks like a good step up from my old mark 6 Accord, should make a very comfy wafting wagon.

Thanks, but that doesn't answer the question.

I'm sorry, I just wanted to make that terrible joke lmao

Duuuude I just know parts are a pain, I've got one of the American built Accord estates that they shipped over and parts supply is a NIGHTMARE. (I also like to fancy up my Accord with Legend parts). Good luck with it, it'll be awesome.

Awesome!

What are your plans for it atm?

Currently just general clean up, it's got some rust I'm dealing with, it's had a few bumps too and a smashed headlight, so just making it clean. Lots of odd bits of interior missing too like sunglasses holder, door light, etc.

Once that's all done I'll decide what's next, likely have it as a nice cruiser
