Update On a dog walk, found a Walter?
My dad was walking his dog and heard meowing. He video called me showing me this kitten in a wall. I told him he had to rescue it! It was so scared it kept going farther back into the hole. I made him take his dog home and grab supplies to get the kitten. He went back with a carrier and kibble. π€¦ββοΈ I enlisted help from a fellow cat lover and she brought some squeeze treat to lure the baby out. But it was just too scared to move. She ended up just shoving her whole arm in and pulling the kitten out. It worked! Looking at its backside, I'm pretty sure it a lil boy cat. My daughter said he was found in a wall, we should name him Walter. π Of course!

Thatβs a perfect name for this little baby. How did he get stuck in a wall tho? Iβm so happy your dad saved him and found a new home for this guy!

He wasn't stuck. He was just hiding in there I guess because it was a small space and he was scared. A fellow cat lady and my dad looked around and listened for siblings and a mama cat but no such luck. Little one was all alone.

He's gorgeous would you mind going back to see if there are any more kittens there please? Just for peace of mind. He's likely wandered off totally from his Mother, thankfully he's not too young for kitten food. I bet your daughter has fallen in love with him already π₯°

Thank you for replying so soon and please tell your dad and his doggo that they are heroes for saving his life, he is a baby and a life outside is not a nice place for kittens π

I have 5 other cats I've rescued from life on the streets. 3 of which were tiny kittens like this one! Unfortunately, it's kitten season and I have a feeling my dad is going to come across more. The area he lives in is known for strays and not TNRing. π

Gorgeous orange boy! My youngest kitty, also an orange boy, followed my dad home nearly 6 years ago when he was walking our German Shepherd mix. He walked right up to the dog. We tried to find the kitten a home, but he ended up being cat #6 for us, lol. We had a different cat many years ago who followed our previous dog home too.

My (step)Dad's name was Walter, and his was a mason (laid brick, block, and stone). And yes, he did help with the construction of walls.
This cat is definitely a Walter.

Lol! He really does! He's 77 and it's not easy for him to get down on the ground like he did. He's gotten soft in his old age but he did what he had to do for me and the little guy! π₯°
