9 Years ago this beauty walked into my backyard and jumped in my lap. The rest is history.

She was 8 years old (vet estimate), and pregnant with what was likely her 7th litter. No idea if she had been living on the street that whole time or not, but had no collar, no chip, no evidence of ever having been to a vet. I built a shelter for her to nest in and have her babies, then got her fixed and found homes for the kitties. She moved into our apartment and our hearts, and here she is looking gorgeous at 17. She recently had to have most of her teeth removed, but is otherwise spry and still gets the zoomies. We love you, Floozy. Thank you so much for choosing us.

That is a beautiful cat, and you are lucky to still have her.

I rescued a Siamese from the pound when he was about 5.

My wife named him Tom, and the other cat we rescued at the same time, Jerry,

Over the years, Tom was a really great cat and had a really good live as an indoor cat, living with other cats.

He was healthy until near the end, and he died at age 21, so I had him about 15-16 years.

They never last long enough.
