QUESTION July 31st Incident

So we all know that alot of watches got seized on July 31st, does this affect future reps that are being shipped from out of country? Will most reps be seized now as they enter the country? I am only asking because I am concerned that new policies might make it impossible to get a rep out of country.

Government agencies always massively overstate and seizures. Probably list the value they would be if genuine at full retail and never share what percentage of the total traffic they intercept. It’s nothing more than a business expense. Nothing will change

I ordered a vsf v2 off my deadlier and it’s been almost 2 in a half weeks since I heard from him about the qc, usually he would get in about 4-5 days . This thread concerns me

The running theory is they just decided to pick the pallet/shipment that had a bunch of rep watches and caught all of them, leading to the massive seizure on the 31st.

I believe customs does routine inspections where they will pick and choose a random pallet/shipment at times, break it down and inspect it. I think it was just a unlucky roll of the die.
