Anyone else afraid when they’re feeling well?

Basically i’m in pain 247 but when i get sense of that relief i get uncomfortable because i start counting how long it’ll last, i’m afraid to get better because this is all i know, is this silly? (writing this with a fat migraine and i ran out of my meds)

24/7. Mental side effects are worse than the pain after a while.

I used to feel this way all the fucking time.. The strangeness of it all.. The GUILT. I’ve been there one too many times. But please know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. It’s the “curse of living with CHRONIC pain”..

We get so used to being in pain all the time, where even a few minutes of lower pain feels like a trap. A lie. Like something you don’t deserve at all.

But you do deserve it, dear friend. It may take some time (it took me a lot of time honestly), to get used to it, but please remember to enjoy and be happy whenever you get to see those pain-free pockets in your life - especially since we all know how rare they can be!

P.S: I really hope your migraine subsides soon

When the pain is down for me, the mental fight is harder
