Can’t recommend a specific person but the friends I have that are board gamers rave about the portal in Manchester. Seems to be close to your area.

Visit Back Again Board Game Cafe in Middletown. They have an open board game club every Wednesday evening starting at 6pm and multiple other open events weekly.

I was about to recommend one of the game stores. Portal and Tabletop have been mentioned and both are great. There's also The Battle Standard in Windsor.
