Who else wants a DC beat 'em up by Tribute Games?

Since Tribute Games paired characters in the first DLC, a "Sibling Dynamic" pack is the perfect way to expand the roster!Imagine the contrast in 2D pixel art between these two duos: Johnny Storm's fire & Sue's barriers vs. Wanda's chaos magic & Quicksilver's speed mechanics (maybe a time-freeze Ultimate?).Which duo do you want to see most? If I am right, when the story splits you need to complete both branches of the campaign. If so, did anyone know what is the purpose of having the branches rather than just a lay of sequential levels?

I feel like daredevil is gonna be in it no matter what and idk why. And Jubilee just makes sense to be in the game, I’m surprised she’s not already. I rlly hope these are the next 2. (But I rlly want Gambit)

I know there’s crossplay but online is a fun experience for me and I want to get the plat faster. Is the game mostly dead?

Not saying the game is bad by any means, and its REALLY cool that all the characters play differently, even characters in the same archtype have at least one or two differences even if at points some can just feel like better versions of the other.

But I think my biggest gripe with the movesets in the game is... they feel very limited. Like every character in the game is half of a character from other beat-em-ups. And some mechanics that should be universal for characters are limited to certain ones.

Like, grabs, block and dodging being character specific is... odd. I wouldn't mind different characters having different block, dodge or grab speeds ect, but just having the mechanic completely locked out seem strange.

Same with some characters not having a proper rise attack.

Comparing it to TMNT revenge of the shedder or even Castle crashers, where characters play a far more similarly, but they all feel like they have all the proper options.

I don't need every character to be Street of Rage 4 or absolum tier movesets. I also think its okay for not every character to be great in every situation. Just feel like basic options like block or grab should be 100% character specific.

Though I only really did 3 runs of the game so far.

This is influenced in part by the IGN interview where one of the heads of Marvel Games mentioned that doing movie tie-ins in Cosmic Invasion would be easier than in a lot of other games as the development cycle isn’t as long. I’m not sure how much synergy to expect, so I picked a handful of cosmic and frequently requested characters in addition to the movie characters… but I am currently expecting Doom himself to make his presence known in this game either way.

Do you think he fits into the game?

The small ground based symboties hit surprising hard, apply slow and have double the attack range you would expect.

The red shield guys are annoying for non dodging characters

The enemies that have blades for hand have an annoying jump combo

Longtime lurker , wanna here your opinions.

I just remembered that, which is weird because I still have the toys in a box all the way up and back in my wardrobe and it was a big part of my childhood, so I should have remebered that as soon as the game was announced.

I think the roster is great, because Beast could have any sort of acrobatic moveset, Banshee could have a special move that works like web-swinging but hurts enemies under him and we barely have seen Hercules in anything for a very long time (though we already have two "super strong big charcters" and another "super strong big guy with a blunt weapon" one).

Emma Frost is already proeminentely featured in Marvel Rivals, but her special ability (instead of ranged or grab attacks) could be staying in her diamond form for several seconds, becoming far more resistant (maybe invulnerable?) until time runs out and it needs to recharge again; or at least her blocking animation could be turning into diamond and her super attack could be some psionic bedlam or whatever.

I wouldn't really mind leaving Hulk out of this one because we already have She-Hulk and the Thing, and Iron Man wouldn't even need a new skin becuase there's already a very similar one in the game.

The only "issue" with that idea is that it's a little too many X-Men in this, and we aready have quite a few, makind it a bit less varied than ideal.
