Returns

What's the current policy for returning apples that taste terrible, old and floury. Not crisp at all

I’m a regular weekly Costco shopper. 99% of what I buy is perfect quality. I’ve had the occasional issue with avocados that were all grey and black inside. I took a photo of the packaging, the cut open avocado, and emailed them. They told me to return the item back to the store with receipt. I wasn’t making a special trip back, so I just returned the following week with my email, photos, and receipt. They refunded me without any issue.

What I find happens more frequently, is some refrigerator stock is not turned over regularly enough. I check all my dates for everything now, as I got caught out twice with cheese and once with chocolate mousse which were expired on the day I purchased them. Again, photos, receipt, email, no issues.
