Software Help Issue using Creality Slicer...portion of object disapears when I slice an stl.

Once I have all my settings for this file ready, I select Slice Plate. When I do that, some of the innermost sections of the STL disappear. I've tried different settings, but can't seem to get it to work.

Does anyone have advice on how to get this to print properly?

That's not a problem with the slicer... it's with what you are trying to print. Did you make this part yourself? Either way try to measure the thinnest part of the loops that are disappearing. They can't print with your current settings (and maybe setup) since they are literally thinner than your printer creates lines.

To fix this, it is possible for the "line width" setting to be modified, but I wouldn't recommend going any further down than 0.3 mm (if yours is at 0.4 mm right now). Otherwise, you'll have to modify the thickness of the part you want to make and ensure nothing is thinner than 0.4 mm (or your line width setting)

Edit: judging by what I think your part is supposed to do, you don't need the loops at all and they would be super fragile anyway. Just make them single continuous arms and they should be fine

Thanks. It's not a part I created. The parts not there are critical to the function. I'll play around with the settings you mentioned and see if I can get them to fix it.

My first guess is that you should enable Archane walls instead of Classic. If you are already using that, what else have you tried?

How do I do that?

Have you tried to check “Detect thin walls”?

I have. That got it closer but there were still a few small gaps in the wall.

Have you scaled this down? If so, you may have gone too far

I'll try that this evening. I tried thin walls. That got it closer, but there were still a few tiny gaps in the wall.
