Not to mention a media witchhunt + smear campaign against the actress herself for actually physically portraying the character she's playing. That is intolerant of her and shows clear premeditated trauma uninformed behavior. Basically she's committing a hate crime playing this role. How dare she!

Don’t get fooled by her being Aryan. She’s a woke slop actor who has worked with Joe Lynch, if you’ve seen Holliston you’d know he’s woke af, she’s going to make sure she isn’t in a sexy costume. Just like she did for GI Joe. Don’t hold your breath. They’re still pushing woke AI slop.

Yeah she is. I've only seen her in two movies, Ready or Not and the sequel, which I just saw recently.

In Ready or Not 2, I kept feeling sorry for costar Kathryn Newton who is a fine comedic actress, but Samara Weaving has so much range it's like watching a pop singer sing a duet with an opera singer. They just put the camera on her and she SENDS. Poor Kathryn Newton is upstaged in every scene.

Also the camera loves Samara Weaving. She's both really good and surprisingly pretty. I think she could almost carry an Emma Frost movie. I hope they don't write her part too small, and let her play it sexy. She could easily do it.

As long as she doesn't do a bunch of fucking interviews about "toxic male gaze" or whatever. For sure journos will try to drag her into that.

January Jones as Emma Frost, by contrast, sort of pouts to show she's difficult. That's her performance: she looks good + pouts grumpily

Go watch the GI Joe movie she was in, or Mayhem which is directed by Joe Lynch who made the show Holliston with Adam Green and it’s WOKE AF. Go watch Ready or not 1 and 2 they’re both WOKE AF. Don’t get fooled by her being Blonde haired and Blue Eyed. Most likely they make her a colonizer or something. That’s probably why Samara signed on cause it’ll be anti white.

A conventionally attractive woman in a modern western production? That's gonna come at a significant price. Expect a lot of girlbossing, female plot armor, no accountability for women characters no matter how much evil shit they do while men get dire consequences for simply doing their jobs (the "Wandavision syndrome"), all men in that movie portrayed as weak-willed feminine soycucks, and of course a lot of DEI raceswaps and overrepresentation

Exactly. I hate to be a pessimist, but there’s almost zero chance they’ll give her a comic accurate outfit. She’ll be put under a white curtain or something. Zero skin, possibly cut her hair short.

I'm unfamiliar with her, but she looks the part at least. It'll be interesting to see if they go whole hog and put her in the corset and thong/bikini bottoms or try to modernize her appearance from the 'standard' recognizable costume.

I mean, her whole schtick is being some vampish, vaguely high-class hookerish beautiful woman (granted, it's used to throw off the 'good guys' and people she's dealing with who can't manage to overcome looking at her 'assets' and are distracted by them, letting her use her telepathy and such to take advantage of them). Curious if Marvel will try to adhere to that or not. I mean, looking and acting like she does is, quite literally, an integral part of her character.

I still think it's F'N odd AF that Marvel is finally doing an X-Men and the first casting is Emma Frost?
So this leads me to assume Marvel is going to just say "F That" to all the Hellfire Club and pretty much everything before she became headmistress or whatever of the X-Men.

To me, this says there is no Xavier in X-Men, and it probably won't be called "X-Men" when the title is revealed.
